The Mashpee Popponesset Bay location has every option for every paddler. You and your group can pop out for an easy hour of paddling around Popponesset island to see amazing real estate, take a full day trip out to the “spit” for a picnic, or head into the conservation lands of the Mashpee river to see a robust ecosystem and an endless amount of bird species. The water level in Popponesset bay does not change very much between high and low tide so your paddling options are always available. It is a great spot for all levels and the calm slow moving pace of the water and the ability to always be protected from the wind makes this one of the most versatile kayaking locations on Cape Cod.
